Simmer Down is located less than 1 mile from the center of Hochatown. This beautiful Hochatown cabin is an easy drive to all the main attractions, such as Broken Bow Lake, Mountain Fork River and Beavers Bend State Park.

Simmer Down is a beautiful luxury 5-bedroom cabin offering an abundance of amenities for everyone in the group to enjoy. Simmer Down also affords a bit more privacy than other cabins in the area, and there is a ramp accessible entrance for those with limited mobility, plus it’s pet friendly and offers a game room and a kids’ playground!

This cabin has it all when it comes to providing first class lodging in the Beavers Bend area! Simmer Down is tucked into the Ouachita National Forest, the perfect cabin for a large family, or several families of friends. You will be delighted at the beautiful surroundings and you are guaranteed to have a great time, whether it’s playing some family friendly games of pool or shuffleboard, or just relaxing in the hot tub under a starry Oklahoma night sky.

Simmer Down has a lot of space - 3,087 square feet of luxury living space and 1,787 square feet of covered decks, and 3 different outdoor deck areas. There are 5 spacious bedrooms, each with Smart TVs and 4 full bathrooms – 2 downstairs and 2 upstairs.

The Great Room at Simmer Down is a combination living, dining and kitchen area that features a gas log fireplace, 2 full size sofas, 4 comfy high-boy chairs and plenty of space for gathering with family and friends. The kitchen has everything you need, even 2 full sized refrigerators.

There are 2 floors at Simmer Down. Downstairs is the master king bedroom with en-suite bathroom and 2 other downstairs king bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The 2nd floor of Simmer Down features an open loft game area with an exquisite leather sofa, Smart TV, pool table and shuffleboard table. There is another king bedroom upstairs with an added set of twin bunk beds and a private bathroom. The 5th bedroom is the upstairs bunk room, featuring 8 twin beds - 3 sets of bunks and 2 trundle beds - with a private bath.

Venture out back through the double doors from the kitchen and you’ll find a covered deck that offers a gas grill, a large hot tub and cozy seating for those who just want to “simmer down” in front of the outdoor gas log fireplace. The playground area and fire pit are in easy view. Kick back, relax and enjoy your time. If you need a little private time, escape to the upstairs loft deck – it’s spacious and roomy for 6 to 8 people, or just right for 2 people to find some privacy.
