McCurtain County is home to breathtaking scenery. Whether taking in the views from the front porch of your Beavers Bend Adventures cabin or riding around on a boat rental, there’s no shortage of ways to surround yourself with Mother Nature’s beauty. For a thrilling way to explore the area, ride around on UTV and ATV trails in our region of Oklahoma.
Where Can You Find Rentals?
Not everyone has ATVs and UTVS they can bring on vacation. Even if you own your own, bringing them with you is not always feasible. Luckily, there are two incredible places to rent from. The first is Bandits ATV & Boat Rental, which offers half-day and full-day UTV rentals with all necessary safety features. Another great option is Captain’s Hideaway Powersports Rentals, which has two different side-by-side rental times.
Where Can You Go Riding?
Arguably the best place to go riding in Ouachita National Forest. This popular natural attraction is home to more than 30 miles worth of trails. More trails open seasonally. If you are planning on riding in the forest, we recommend reading over the information included in “Traveling the Back Country” to ensure your outing stays safe and fun.
One of the best ways to discover UTV trails is by downloading an app like Avenza Offline Maps. The staff at both Bandits and Captain’s Hideaway can help you set everything up. This tool will help you discover trails closer to Broken Bow and Hochatown.
What Should You Bring with You?
Your UTV rental isn’t the only thing you need for a successful outing. You’ll also want to make sure you have a small cooler filled with water and snacks, sun protection, and a first aid kit. We recommend wearing close-toed shoes and lightweight, breathable layers.
