Heaven on the River:
(GPS starting point: 20 N. Park Drive, Broken Bow, OK) Travel approx. 10 miles North on Hwy 259 to the community of Hochatown. (Drive past EZ Mart, Abendigo’s & Girls Gone Wine) At Girls Gone Wine, reset your odometer to zero. Drive 25 miles North of Hochatown on Hwy. 259. Look for the bridge where the “Narrows” streams come together. (see Choctaw Code Talker sign on the bridge) Two miles past the bridge, look for a Beavers Bend Adventures / Heaven on the River sign on the right side of the highway. Turn right on Deer Ridge Trail. (If you reach the Smithville turn off, you have gone 1 & 1/2 miles too far) Drive past a cabin on your left, continue down the hill and through the gate. When you see a pond, turn right & drive to the end of the road to Heaven on the River.

Thunderbird Lodge:
(GPS starting point: 20 N. Park Drive, Broken Bow, OK) Take SH 259 North from Broken Bow and drive approx. 7 miles. Turn right into the first 259-A “Beavers Bend State Park Entrance”. Drive approx. 2 miles, past Southern Hills, to just past the sharp curve left. Look for the Thunderbird sign pointing left. Turn left on the gravel road & drive 1.3 miles thru National Forestry land. Drive through the gate, to the front of the lodge to park.
