Running Bear Lodge is a beautifully decorated luxury cabin that brings you the best of Broken Bow. With over 2 acres of property in Kaniatobe Trails, you will be close to everything while still enjoying a secluded location. Several restaurants and a winery are within walking distance and it is a short drive to the marina, park areas, and trails of Broken Bow Lake. The property is connected to undeveloped forest lands which is quiet and inviting to peaceful deer.

When you step inside Running Bear Lodge you are greeted with soaring cathedral ceilings, massive timber beams, and the oversized wood-burning rock fireplace. Enjoy being surrounded in warm hardwoods, large leather couches, and the charming character of adorable bears.

The chef in the family will delight in the retro red Northstar gas stove, electric oven and refrigerator, with built-in ice maker. The kitchen also features beautiful granite counter tops and a copper farm sink. Plenty of cookware, dishes, flatware and glassware are provided, as well as a toaster oven, microwave, dishwasher, electric juicer, blender, pancake griddle, crock pot and coffee bean grinder. The cabin also features a high efficiency, front loading washer and dryer. The open floor plan features a center dining area, which seats up to 15 guests.

Do you like to feel at home outdoors? Running Bear Lodge provides many options to spend the entire day outside under our canopy of tall cedars. The home is nearly surrounded with plenty of deck space creating at least 4 covered and uncovered sitting areas. Soak in the hot tub, try your hand at horse shoes, swing in one of the two luxury hammocks, rock on one of the wagon wheel benches, grill on the high end outdoor grill, or enjoy the beautiful river rock fire pit area with oak Adirondack chairs – why would you ever go inside? This is the cabin that allows you to make memories with your family or friends!

Indoor entertainment includes a large loft game room with pool table and sitting areas, overlooking the beautiful great room. When its time to watch the big game or enjoy a movie with the family, the lodge has 5 flat screen TV’s, 4 DVD players, a great bluetooth sound system and internet Wi Fi connections. The bookshelves are filled with books and the cabinets are filled with games, giving you something to do as you simply kick back and get comfortable on the luxurious, rustic furnishings, with ceiling fans and hardwood floors throughout.

Running Bear Lodge comfortably sleeps 10 guests with 3 king beds and 2 queen beds. It will accommodate up to 13 people, with a full-size futon in the loft, and a twin sofa-bed chair in the living room – linens provided. The bedrooms are theme decorated and the mattresses provide a refreshing nights sleep!

Bedroom areas adjoin 2 full size baths, with his and her sinks and showers, and a 1/2 bath powder room. Every sink in the lodge is made of copper and the centerpiece of the master bath is an oversized hammered copper bathtub for soaking in a relaxing evening!

Running Bear Lodge is a special place to escape everything. Relax, entertain, and enjoy a fun, beautiful cabin nestled in the scenery and heart of the recreation of Broken Bow.

Enjoy hours of family fun on the pool table in the game room loft. Or star gaze from the back deck while relaxing in your private hot tub. The great outdoors is right at your doorstep with a gas grill and campfire ring for telling stories and roasting marshmallows by the fire.

All Cabins Include

  • A starter supply of coffee, creamer, sugar, salt, pepper, paper towels, toilet paper, bath soap, dishwashing liquid, trash bags, dishwasher tablets, and laundry soap will be provided for your stay.
  • Charcoal is not provided. Propane is provided for gas grills
  • We clean and sanitize our hot tubs after every check-out
